# Importing Templates to the Neon Blue App

## Importing Templates to the Neon Blue App

### Overview

Once your email template is Neon Blue-ready in your ESP (see \[Connecting Email Templates to Neon Blue]), you need to import it into the Neon Blue platform so it can be used in Draft Experiments and Experiments.

### New Templates

#### 1. Sync Source Templates

In the Neon Blue portal, navigate to **Source Templates** and sync. This pulls your ESP's templates into Neon Blue. Your newly created template will appear in the list.

{% embed url="<https://www.loom.com/share/595e06229a7e4f53b47413dfebce975d>" %}

#### 2. Import to Content Templates

Select the source template and import it into the **Content Templates** list. This designates it as usable by Draft Experiments and Experiments.

{% embed url="<https://www.loom.com/share/e9e26fb7cb7b42f38dfc70bbde76108a>" %}

***

### Syncing Existing Templates

If you've updated a template that's already been imported, navigate to **Content Templates** and sync. This pulls the latest version from your ESP without needing to re-import from Source Templates.

{% embed url="<https://www.loom.com/share/2bcee254052640fe9810cb3f677f35cf>" %}

### Next Steps

Your template is now ready to use in a [Draft Experiment](/~/revisions/UVOEkW7tEaSNEuGrUkPO/draft-experiments-overview/draft-experiment-set-up.md).
