Variant Generation

This page explains the variant generation process in the Draft Experiments tab

Overview

The Generation tab in a draft experiment is where you will define what the creative variants will be. There are three elements to configure: variable axis, model and prompt. Selecting the model is straightforward and we will focus on explaining the variable axis and the prompt.

Variable Axes

Th is where you will define the personalisation layer. This decides for which of your pre-defined variables you want to generate a variant for. Each selected axis will be combined with the others to generate variants. For example if you select your 6 segments and all 3 tones, you will be generating 18 variants for each slot. Each variant tailored (if prompted correctly) to a given segment and tone combination.

The Variable axes section is set for all slots.

Prompt

This is the guidance for what the creatives should contain. This can vary for each slot.

We have written about how to design a good prompt in our Magic Prompt Writing Guide
