# Review

This is a description of the Review tab in a specific draft experiment.

#### Overview

The review is the last section in generating a draft experiment. It's meant to iterate on variants that have been generated and passed evaluations, with AI or as a team. To iterate as a team, leave feedback for others to review and comment on. To iterate with AI, use the regenerate option and tell our system how to update the variants selected.

#### Leaving Feedback

To leave feedback on a variant:

1. Make sure the **Content** toggle is set to **Rendered** (not JSON).
2. Click on the variant's rendered content area (not the header with the subject line or preview text).
3. A feedback panel will open where you can leave comments, view others' feedback, or trigger regeneration.

#### Regenerating Variants

From the feedback panel, you'll see a **Regenerate** option. This uses AI to update the variant based on your input.

**When to use Regenerate:** Small, specific changes — e.g. tweaking a headline, adjusting tone, shortening a sentence.

**When to leave a comment instead:** Larger thematic shifts — e.g. changing the core angle, reworking the narrative, or requesting a fundamentally different approach. For these, leave a comment and the Neon Blue team will handle the update.<br>

#### Approving Variants

Once you're satisfied with a variant, click **Approve**. This signals to the Neon Blue team that the variant is ready to be activated in your ESP.
